This is an old trusted name in western suburbs of Mumbai, India. Service offering of the organization being obvious from the name, the management of the stores was keen to improve satisfaction of its customers.
To improve satisfaction one must establish the level of satisfaction first. For this, to begin with, the customers were needed to be mapped for their expectations vis-à-vis the stores current offerings.
At the stores front, a customer survey was conducted and at the backend the inventories were analyzed in details.
Inventory management of the stores was to be refocused for better cash flow, while satisfying at the same time customer expectations; enlarging stores offering in some areas and possible curtailment in some others.
