Texprocil is an export promotion council established by the Government
of India for playing vital role in promoting exports of Indian cotton
This assignment was taken up when the quota regime was still strong;
its deferment was on the cards which happened subsequently in a
Texprocil wanted an audio-visual film to be made which could be used by them in highlighting strengths of the Indian cotton textiles, making a case for the prospective buyers for prioritizing their choice of these items in their annual purchase basket.
It involved all the steps right from development of the very concept to visualizing to making story board to making presentation to finally bagging contract for making the film.
Simply put, the contract for making the film was won against well established advertising agencies.
